ahhhh ... it was certainly not the usual kind of feel u get watching thalaivar(SUPER STAR) in kuselan... the movie lacked in all concept of making a RAJNI film... but u will get the feel that its a cheap war amongst kollywood directors making movies with RAJNI ... kuselan movie spins around friendship which the director P.VASU has spoiled completely ... there doesn seem to be any feel of action or entertainment in the movie... P.VASU has lost his dignity by just trying to imitate the techniques followed by SHANKAR, who directed SUPERSTARs last movie SHIVAJI... SHANKAR handled the sets of SHIVAJI with the creativity of art director THOTTA THARANI, and everybody got the feel that he was a micer with SHREYA and her costumes.... u dont get to see any difference with P.VASU in the sets of KUSELAN... this fit for nothing director has ringed the bell to inagurate the new glamour war in kollywood by using NAYANTHARA in his latest stupid creation ..... NAYANTHARA flashes off too much of skin in this movie just like wat SHRIYA did in SHANKAR's creation - SHIVAJI ..... P.VASU's inexperience in imitating has shown in the costumes and makeup of RAJNI ... SUPERSTAR just looks like the same as he was in SHIVAJI in one of the songs....
VADIVELU's comedy has been the best mockery of all in the movie.... He has nowadays become an useless comedian doing nothing on the screen ... his actions makes u feel annoyed rather than the other way .... Directors have started to play the spoil sport and i recon RAJNI not to choose any more films with P.VASU in particular... it was stupid to watch a movie like KUSELAN in a theatre... P.VASU has miserably failed to build the characters in this movie.... no character gets the center stage except the poorly looking PASUPATHY.... though VASU has portrayed SUPERSTAR to remember his childhood friendship, he has also portrayed PASUPATHY to be worthless as a human .... the character BALU seems to posses a very negative attitude of not taking any efforts watsoever in life to improve his lifestyle.... RAJNI and NAYANTHARA on the other side seem to be doing nothing in the movie.... i probably think this is the first time in history of SUPERSTAR movies that there has been no fight....
I deeply pity , VADIVELU and NAYANTHARA who are soon going to disappear in the cinema market for not putting themselves right on the screen.... On the whole KUSELAN shud have been a better one for RAJNI but unfortuanately VASU has made a huge mess of everything with his egoistic intentions to prove himself big before other popular directors like SHANKAR and MANIRATHNAM sir.......
